Games Station You liked it so much we named it twice!
We have split our Games into two areas, Games Station 1 and Games Station 2.
Games Station 2 holds all the board and strategy games, whilst the mathematical
games are in Games Station 1. The new kid on the block is Ratsplat.
Ratsplat is a 4 rules of number game. Splat the rat before it escapes – watch
out it gets quicker!
Coming Soon.
Coordinate Connect 4 is just that. It has a 2 player version or play
against the computer. There are 4 different grids to play on. Sometimes an x or
y coordinates may be randomly selected for a player - it’s not as straight
forward as you think! (This should lead on to players understanding the
equations such as y = 3 and x = -3)
Maths Invaders. Based on Space Invaders, but answer a sum and shoot the
correct alien. Shoot the wrong one and lose a life.

Interactive Maths
Hundreds (well it seems like that) of interactive applets to help you deliver
core maths skills. We have grouped these approximately into National Curriculum
levels for ease. The applets cover simple angle properties, to Pythagoras’
Theorem, to circle properties to trig functions to vectors to….. . Well you get
the idea. Give them a go.

The Last resort ?!
A wet weekend in Wales or a sunkissed week in Barbados. If you haven’t made up
your mind which is best we can help.
D = [(-2xA12) + (1+A23) + (1 x A34) + (2xA45)]/AT.
This is the equation that Professor Allan Williams produced after three years
of research to find the worlds best beaches. The landscape was broken down into
28 elements from the colour of the sand to the height of cliffs. The results
are weighted according to the formula and a rating from 1 to 5 is produced.
Sixty beaches in three countries were assessed. In the top five were Cirali in
Turkey, Dingli Cliffs in Malta and Poppit Sands in Pembrokeshire, West Wales.
We all new the wet weekend in Wales was the winner!
