How many days old are you … and in Mars Years?

13 sided dice
We’ve all done the ‘roll the dice’ experiments, but how many have used a 13
sided die? Try ‘Dice’ in the oddball section, you can create a die with any
number of sides and then roll it. Tally and graph the results. Look at the
other probability programs here – most will be of use to you.

Link to 10ticks
As our site continues to grow steadily and you have already seen the superb
content on offer, why not link your school website to us. Many have already.
Tell your Website coordinator you want to link to us, http://www.10ticks.co.in
. It is best to jot the site address down on a piece of paper and pass it to
them!
A problem shared is a problem halved
The mathematical accuracy of this statement has yet to be measured. However has
any one an iteration/formula to work out Pi exactly? Well post it as a reply in
the teacher to teacher section (t2t). If you have a problem post it here! Login
to the Teacher Area to view this discussion group.
Addictive game
If you get hooked easily on games don’t read any further. Sokoban is a
superb set of logic puzzles pushing rocks around rooms. Why? Well who cares! A
clear logical sequence has to be planned before starting out aover 10o levels
to hattempt. Forget your students, - see how far you can get!

10ticks WebMathster.
Starter Answer
The total of the numbers is 78, hence the three sections each need to add up to
26. Draw the two lines so the three sections contain (11, 12, 1, 2), (9, 10, 3,
4) and (5, 6, 7, 8).
