10ticks.co.uk has just been short-listed in the North West Section of the
National Business Awards E-Business Strategy of the Year.
Reuben Singh, Chairman and CEO of alldayPA, winner of The New Business of the
Year Award 2002 announced the names of the finalists at a special half-day
business excellence showcase for companies and entrepreneurs held at Old
Trafford on May 15.
The independent Judging panels for the North West Awards convene in June and
will include business leaders, experts, commentators and academics who are
drawn from Business Schools, Chambers of Commerce and Business Links across the
North West.
The names of the winners will be announced before an audience of business
leaders, thought leaders and other VIPs at a Gala Awards Ceremony and Dinner on
Thursday, July 3 at Old Trafford.
All the winners will automatically qualify for The National Business Awards
national competition, which takes place on November 11.
'We are very excited about being short-listed for this prestigious Award and it
reflects the hard work and endeavour that has been put into the business and
website over the last 6 months. The website has grown beyond
recognition from our earlier efforts. I think the panel of judges were
particularly impressed with our diagnostic program of mathematical 'helps' in
the student area. Here registered users build up a profile of their
mathematical ability and they can use this to put in place a remedial programme
of activities. (Registering is free).' says 10ticks director Ian Fisher.
The competition will be tough with Manufacturer Mono Pumps Ltd, Manchester;
dabs.com Ltd, Bolton; and the frozen food sales and distributor Yearsley Group,
Heywood making up the other short-listed companies.
